VAYP hosting 5K on April 1st, the Smoothie King 5K Fool’s Run

Calling all runners, walkers, skippers and jumpers!

We need you for the Inaugural Smoothie King 5K Fool’s Run. This event is organized by and benefitting VAYP!

The 5k will start at 7:30am at Maxine Barritt Park-1800 Harbor Drive South. Registration opens at 6:30am. After the 5K we will have free food, drinks and entertainment followed by an awards ceremony awarding all ages.

This is a unique organization that is predicting one of the largest demographic shifts, not only in our community, but throughout our nation. Cost of the lunch is $5 for VAYP and VACC members and $10 for non-members. Cash or check paid at the door day of event. We have something for all young professionals! If you enjoy professional development events, networking, volunteer and social opportunities for members and their families, VAYP is your organization! Annual membership is $50 for chamber members and $65 for non-members. Applications are available under the Membership tab, Join VAYP! VAYP has over 150 members and 4 committees to get involved in. We have several events throughout each month and always have our monthly mixer on the 2nd Thursday of the month. To see where those mixers are and other events go to the Events tab!
