All VAYP members are encouraged to join one of the VAYP Committee’s; we want to hear your voices! Read below to find out more information on the committees and when they meet.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee is responsible for providing professional development opportunity to the members of the Venice Area Young Professionals. We are involved with setting up quarterly lunch and learns, workshops and corporate tours. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month from 4-5pm. Community Involvement

As Young Professionals we understand that for the sake of our businesses and our families it’s important that our community stays strong and healthy. This committee is focused on finding ways for our membership to help the community through volunteerism. From quarterly road clean-up’s, to hiding eggs for Venice Mainstreets’ Easter egg hunt, VAYP is an active part of the Venice Area and is always looking for ways to make our town better. Events Committee

The Events Committee of the VAYP plans the monthly networking events, monthly social events, Annual Beach Bash, and the Annual Banquet. The Events Committee offers a great opportunity to network and meet local business owners, and work closely with other VAYP members. Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month from 4-5pm. Membership & Public Relations Committee

The Member Relations Committee is a two fold committee that is responsible for recruiting new members while engaging and retaining current members, the annual membership drive and also encourages VAYP members to belong to the VACC. They also do Public Relations and are responsible for the Member Spotlight Program, and submitting various articles and press releases to the different media agencies. Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of the month from 4-5pm.
